Very rarely these days do you find a mechanic that is trustworthy, or doesn't speak down to you like you're a moron, or quote outrageous repair prices followed up with his pressure sales tactics. Riverside Auto is exactly what you hope for when searching for auto repairs but rarely ever find, at least in my personal experience. I stumbled upon Riverside auto by happenstance, and I feel extremely lucky. Moving forward Riverside Auto Repair in Egg Harbor Township will be the only place I call now and will recommend anyone I speak to. I highly recommend Riverside Repair. They have been servicing my vehicle for about three years. Every time I am down the shore and something happens to my car (which is not an uncommon occurrence as my car is pushing 20) , the owner of Riverside Repair, Larry Cook, is extremely accommodating and will literally drop what he's doing to help, knowing that I am only at the shore for a limited time before I need to return home. My experience with other mechanics has not been as positive, and often times, I need to wait several days to be fit into an appointment time slot. Not so with Larry, as he always finds the time to help. Moreover, Larry is genuinely a very honest and upright guy. Knowing the age of my car, he works within my budget to find a solution that won't break the bank. As a woman who knows next to nothing about cars, it's hard to put your trust in someone you don't know, because you're not sure if you're being taken advantage of. Larry is very trustworthy and reliable. He is also patient and takes the time to explain things in a way I can understand. Riverside Repair has come to my rescue on a number of occasions. Most recently, my air conditioner was malfunctioning during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Despite Larry being short-staffed, he was happy to help me and worked on my car all weekend, knowing that I had to leave the shore on Monday to get back to work. As it turned out, Larry diagnosed a coolant leak that, had it not been repaired, would have resulted in a breakdown on the highway on my commute home. I challenge you to find a mechanic who will not 'nickel and dime' you for unnecessary repairs, who treats you with respect, who comes to your aid on the weekends, and who personally follows up to make sure your car is running properly. You will find this exceptional service at Riverside Repair, which is why I am all too happy to give them 5/5 stars! They deserve it!

I went in on Saturday morning for what i thought was a brake change. Larry was so helpful and he did an entire search on my car to find any other issues and found out that I didn't need my brakes done but I had hanging wires that were getting stuck in the tread of my tires. I would recommend going here if you're looking for affordable repairs.

Brought in an f-150 that I had purchased. Was not in good shape at all. The guys over at Riverside had no problems getting it to run 100%. Have not had a problem with the truck since. Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Had another mechanic tell me I needed a full set of brakes and rotors. Brought the car here to get a 2nd opinion, and the brakes have 40-45% tread remaining, and the front rotors just needed the lip grinded off. Great communication, friendly folks, and honest work.

Out here camping @ehl campground. The valve stem starts leaking air. On Memorial Day weekend and on a sunday.. figured no one would be open. And charge a crazy price. But not riverside... ty for the help
